2011

2011: The birth of Euro Marine Logistics

EML was founded in 2011 as a joint venture between 
Mitsui OSK Lines and Hoegh Autoliners to provide the 
EU short sea market with an efficient network.

2012

2012: Expanding into new territory

EML started to call Tangiers port in Morocco which has been added to North Conti-East Med Trade.

2013

2013: Increase fleet size

Due to fact that EML shipped more units gradually the fleet size also has increased.

As from this year we also got a new INTRA MED trade between Djen Djen (Algeria) and Barcelona (Spain)

2014

2014: Developing a road to success

New SCAN Trade connecting TYNE - ZEEBRUGGE - ESBJERG - DRAMMEN - GOTHENBURG on every 5 days basis.

In 2014 EML has been awarded for best sea performance by Renault Nissan Alliance Logistics Europe.

2015

2015: New dedicated Baltic Trade

New BALTIC trade connecting TYNE - ZEEBRUGGE - GOTHENBURG
- ST. PETERSBURG - HANKO with a weekly frequency.

2016

2016: New office @ Wemmel

As from 28.11.2016 EML moved from Meise to Wemmel (Brussels area). 

Our new address is: 
Heide 17, 1780 Wemmel, Belgium.

2017

2017: Another milestone achieved

A new Biscay service as from 1.04.2017.

This trade deploys two medium size vessels (1500 CEU) and connects: Santander - Zeebrugge - Le Havre - Southampton with a high frequency of every 4 days.

2018

2018: Connecting Routes

New Service (West-Med Trade) connecting the Iberia Peninsula (Barcelona – Setubal – Santander) with the UK ( Sheerness – Grimsby – Tyne)

2019

2019: Expanding into new territory

Expanding into new territory EML started a service into the Black Sea connecting Piraeus with Russia (Novorossiysk) and Ukraine (Chornomorsk).

2020

2020: MOL acquires full ownership of EML

2022

2022: NEW OFFICE @ STROMBEEK BEVER

As from this year EML moved from Wemmel to Strombeek Bever (Brussels area)
